A year ago, we at the Plymouth Public Library started an Etsy shop to both recycle old materials and raise funds.
Recently, we posted a listing for decorative books sorted by color, to help give some of our weeded materials new life.
We’ve already managed to raise more funds for our library with a few sales of vintage checkout cards, too! We are now aiming to create listings for laminated checkout card bookmarks from both classic books & those w/ interesting titles. We also would like to list decorative pages from weeded materials for use as wall art or for scrap booking in the near future.
